A double homicide happened late on Friday (25th May 2012). A couple were sitting outside their home when a 17 year old local and known drug user came by and asked for a cigarette. The man got up and entered his home to get the cigarettes and while he was inside he heard shots fired.
The man ran outside to find both his wife and the young man shot dead lying on the floor.
It is thought that the murderers were after the young man and shot the woman as she was a witness to the killing.
The couples young children were also outside and witnessed the whole thing.
