And wearing white shoes after Labor Day???? Criminal.

Traditionally, wearing white after Labor Day was a faux pas because Labor Day marked the end of summer and this meant stowing away light summer clothes (which keep you cooler in the heat) and dusting off heavier, darker-colored fall clothing.
