Oldest story in the book. Read any housewife porn story, the common thread is a woman meets some dangerous savage who liberates her from the social repercussions of sex (rape, we call it outside the real of fantasy, at least in the wider sense used these days), then she tames the beast and he keeps her safe, provides, still fucks like an animal in the good sense, and the curtain falls before the kids are born and ruin the fun. BBC porn is pretty much the same thing, just with something thrown in for the guy in regards to the thing he feels holding him back ends up being the thing that wins over the unattainable woman; pretty unpalatable premise, but whatever. Anyway, in real life, men like that are a bad idea in a modern, feminine, western society, which is why the women in the west tend to only go for them when they’re after casual sex or are in the ovulatory part of their cycle or had three+ units of alcohol, and prefer the more viable mates the rest of the time. The equation changes somewhat in a violent community where “a decent future” is more or less on par with what people in the first world would call rock bottom. It’s the same overall theme, though, and women who don’t get it generally either lack introspection or refuse to be honest about their attraction pattern (apologies to the really odd ones who don’t wire like that). We’re not a very rational species to begin with, and some places can make it seem rational to choose a man you think will be top dog, even if you know he will end you if you stop being his bitch. Don’t really see what’s unclear. |
