Young Lady Shot Dead by Her Boyfriend
On the morning of 19th September 2018 in Maranhão, 18 year old J.F.O. was found dead. Her boyfriend, 39 year old J.K.P.D., shot her dead the previous night, whilst she had been sitting in a chair in the kitchen. She was shot in her head with a .38 revolver. 'J' had fled the scene + left the couple's 3 year old daughter alone with her dead mother. When family members could not get in contact with 'J', they went round + discovered her dead. They found the 3 year old sleeping in her bed + took her to safety. 'J's car was found abandoned at a petrol station. Inside the car was the revolver. 'J' was soon caught + he confessed to the murder. He stated that at around 6pm on the 18th, he had come home from work + found 'J' drunk. She apparently continued to drink through the night + at 11.30pm, fed up, 'J' killed her. Neighbours report that around 10pm, they heard arguing + little girl crying. They also report hearing a gunshot. On the afternoon of the 24th, 'J' was heard by the head of the investigation. He claims that the shooting was an accident, but no one believed him.
