Young Lady Shot Dead, Boyfriend is the Main Suspect
The body of 29 year old Patrícia Aline Dos Santos was found on 9th August 2018 in Palmas. Her boyfriend, 24 year old Iury Italu Mendanha, is the prime suspect. Patrícia's body had gunshot wounds + injuries to her face. In Iury's house, rifles + ammo were found. According to witnesses, the couple had been together for 2 months + fought constantly. A security camera of a bakery next to Patrícia's house picked up the moment she got into a car with Iury hours before she was killed. Another man also appears in the footage, he's being investigated. *I've only managed to find 3 death photos + they're pretty crap. 1 is censored, 1 is from a distance + in the other, she's covered with a sheet. With thanks to kellyhound providing the last video, I've taken 2 screenshots of the body.           Shortly before she was murdered, Patrícia asked for help from a friend via Whatsapp. In the first video below, you can hear the call, the following is what she says: " I do not want any more. One that we're fighting a lot and one that he wants to keep cursing me, friend, a slut. And he has already advanced on me twice. One he knocked on my face and the other he threw the phone in my arms. I do not want a person who gets this obsessive jealousy of friend, dog, academy. I can not stand it any more. Then I went, I let go, he went and lost his head. He left the service, went straight to my house and jumped the wall. Then I did not want to open the door for him, and he went and told me he was going to kill me. I went, I called my friend, I asked for help and she went to pick me up. He picked it up and said he was going after a gun, was going to come back and kill me." *UPDATE* Iury was arrested yesterday (14th August) along with Silas Barreira Borges, who appeared in the CCTV footage. The pair were reported after trying to buy tickets to Goiânia using false names. When they were arrested, they were in the car that Patrícia was last seen in. Iury confessed to the murder + said that he had acted alone. He had shot Patrícia 3 times. A friend of Aline stated: "Even one day before she died in one of the messages, she says: 'Girlfriend, I have a bad feeling, I think Iury is going to kill me.' The friend told her to go to the police, she did not want to, she said she did not want to get to that point, that she would leave." Patrícia was buried on 11th August.

Same here, as soon as it hit the news I've been looking for hours each day. Since it only happened 2 days ago, some better photos might pop up soon.

Well the camera footage is from the evening on the 8th, she was discovered in daylight the next day, so probably only a matter of hours.

So sad. Ridiculous, immature, jealous, hateful, aggressive, abusive guys, think they own a woman. He thought he was freaking God, taking her life. This type of murder really angers me. I can’t even imagine that being my daughter. Burn in Hell!! Her poor family.
