Re: Young Lady Died in a Motorbike Crash on Her Way to College Yesterday
Well said. I think it is essentially true everywhere, with slight social or cultural variances, that 95% of the population simply want to peacefully live their lives, and 5% mess it up for the rest of us. I have joked on here before that when I see, say, a picture of a person tossed off a cliff, I usually make a comment about how well you can see striations in the exposed rock layers, or how pretty I bet sunsets there are. I think I do it to remind myself of what you're saying; people reliably defy the negative stereotypes prevalent here because we are more likely to see posts about the bad people, since they are involved with death a lot, one way or the other. It's like a homicide detective having a dim view of humanity because she deals with murderers every day; in reality they are a tiny percentage of the population, but in her bubble they're everywhere. |

They're kind of touching hands there. Maybe it's perspective, but still kinda brings a little peace. Poor souls. The reaper comes at any moment :(
