The official story, as recorded from many Guatemalan sources and translated by me, is this: Carlos Alejandro Garza, from Estado Puebla in Mexico, a custodian, was killed by a jealous ex-lover, who had become a fashion model, and a cruel one at that. During the time since the split up at age 16, Rosa Diaz had worked her way up the professional modeling ladder, but not without gaining several Mexican mafia contacts. Having held a grudge against her ex-novio Diaz, she became increasingly disgusted with his "campesino" behavior, especially his personal style. She returned one day, still bitter, but acted nicely to him, and convinced him she would pay him money if they would shoot or pornographic film. She convinced him to sport a hot pink outfit, and since he still loved her so much, he did so upon her request. "He always aimed to please her," said his best friend Alejandro Perez. "He always wanted to make her happy. Even after all she did wrong to him, he wanted to be the perfect husband. He loved her, and she killed him". And then while in the middle of charming him, Rosa abruptly stabbed him several times. She had previously been diagnosed with depression and antisocial disorder. Other psychiatric examinations had shown she also had several classic disorders: histrionic personality disorder, narcissistic personality disorder, et. al. |
