This can't be, Wolfie and I fully agree on something.

It is indeed electrical wiring simply wrapped around and around, what looks to be a very loose knot is just where the insulation has gripped itself.

Anyone who has wired a house (my guess not many) but this happens all the time, you try and feed the wire through the pre-drilled holes and pull it through it simply wont work, it tangles onto itself and no amount of tugging will free it, it just makes it worse, I have found coating the wire with talcum powder helps a little, but in the end you still find yourself going back and forth untangling the silly shit.

Having kids solved this problem for me, I simply send them back and forth while I wait for the "okay dad try it now"......works every time now. :)
