I looked at the pics before reading the info on this, & I thought this girl was pregnant (a possible motive). The fact that she was 17 might be an issue here too, some counties legal age for having sex is 18, so someone either hated her, did not want a kid, or, wanted to evade a possible prison sentence. All in all, nasty.

60-80 stab wounds plus being bound and gagged? I wonder if rejection or betrayal could have anything to do with this?  :
