Young Couple Shot Dead - UPDATED
**UPDATE** I've found a death photo, but it's been censored in 2 different ways:   In Manaus on 19th May 2018 a young couple were gunned down. 17 year old Dhayana de Souza Feitosa was sitting outside her house with her boyfriend, 18 year old Lourran Gama de Assunção. A car pulled up + shot at them both. 3 shots struck Dhayana's stomach + back. Lourran was hit about 6 times in his head, mouth, legs, chest + stomach. The couple were taken to the hospital. Lourran died shortly after arriving + Dhayana died early the next morning. Lourran was involved in the drug trade, but he had been trying to get out of it. 22 year old Anderson Barbosa Botelho + a 16 year old boy were also shot, but survived. According to a friend, 1 of the criminals dropped a firecracker spray to disperse people passing by + a man fired the gun from inside the car.        |

Hopefully they are together in the after life. Kinda romantic to die together. But they were so young.

Well it's early days + sometimes the photos aren't released. There's tons of news sites with this on + also plenty of FaceBook posts from friends + family of the couple talking about it.

I keep thinking back to the Capone days. There was respect and honor. They typically didn't go after wives, girl friends, kids. There was a code, and if you breached it, you knew what would happen and if caught, you took it like a man. You'd apologize, you'd pray you'd get a second chance, maybe you did, maybe you didn't. But nobody wanted to get caught in that position, so you just didn't do it, you didn't go there. Today, no respect. No code. Short fuses and hail of bullets, no waiting for the right moment, no seeing what tomorrow will bring, just animal instinct with no big picture thinking. So everyone is always looking over their shoulder, everyone is seeking to be top dawg, no life, no relaxing, always hunt or be hunted. Glamour of gang life. (or not life as it is)
