Young Couple Shot Dead This Morning
This morning (27th June 2018) in Ananindeua, 25 year old Fábio Ferreira da Silva + 20 year old Iris Leite Rosário da Silva were murdered. 4 men arrived in a car, cut the lock on the gate, entered the home + shot the couple dead before fleeing the scene. They leave behind 2 young sons. Thank you very much to Ved' for the image below + the video. |

Re: Young Couple Shot Dead This Morning
Meh. Dead's dead. The only thing that gets to me is dead animals. I can watch dead babies bouncing off of car bumpers like ping pong balls all day, but dead or tortured animals shut me right down. Once in a while I'll feel a bit verklempt over a really touching scene where a spouse is crying over the recent demise of a loved one and the emotional pain is palpable. But just seeing the bodies? Nah. Meat is meat. |

Re: Young Couple Shot Dead This Morning
Dead animals get to me, too. It actually makes me a little curious as to why. I'd guess it has something to do with the timeline of exposure? Humans, that depends on the story told by the image. Generic location with a pile of anonymous body parts? Shrug. A trail of blood along the floor from one end of a room to a shelf with an empty spot at the other end, and a grown woman's corpse below that shelf, clutching a worn but well kept and now bloody doll that would've fit that spot? That's enough Internet for, well, a while. |

a lot of da silva's were killed past week. not a real surprise considering the fact that it is the most common surname in Brazil and Portugal
