Brazil: The couple were found dead in their own backyard on Thursday (23rd). She was 29 years old and dead by asphyxiation, her boyfriend 24 and shot in the chest with a shotgun. They were known to have spent the night before drinking.

One police theory is that she was killed by her boyfriend, who then shot himself. This seems somewhat weakened, as the shotgun wasn't found on site.

The police doesn't outrule a third person involved. But in my opinion this isn't without problems either, as this potential intruder didn't shoot both, but took the time to asphyxiate the woman - and did so before he shot the man (look at the placement of the corpses - he rests against her).

Maybe not exactly a "closed room mystery", but certainly not without a hint of mystery at all.

I don't think this was a murder-suicide, it seems to be straight up murder.

Look at the blood behind him. He's got blood on his neck, the left side that's lying down. I think he was dragged in that position.
