IQUITOS, PERU.

Gerson Miguel Bustamente Perez (26) and Jennifer Flores (23) were found executed by the side of the Iquitos-Nauta highway in around 10pm. Police had been alerted by several people living nearby calling and reporting a fusillade of gunfire.

Both had been shot multiple times from behind, very possibly while trying to flee, and were pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigation determined that Gerson had a criminal history (though his last arrest was 2017) and Jennifer did not. The two of them had been a couple for the last 2 or 3 years. Gerson apparently fielded a phone call from a friend (whose name was not included in the report) asking him to come give him a ride because his car had broken down by the road.

Apparently, when the couple arrived to pick up the friend, they were instead met by gunman. A third woman was also shot and injured, but is still recovering in the hospital. She was apparently a friend of Jennifer's.

Most images provided are of Jennifer, though I included any of Gerson that I was able to source.

The videos are of varying quality, but the last one is about 2 minutes of the forensic team messing around with Jennifer's body. The image integrity isn't great and it is obvious that the bystander was trying to shoot the video without the police seeing him. He does catch footage of them rolling her over, looking for bullet holes, and eventually (if you wait all the way to the end) removing her top and getting her tits out. Legit journalism always censors such things, but a random bystander just posted it right to Facebook unedited instead.
