Young Couple Drown in Cambodian River
February 25th 2018, was a day marked with tragedy for ReakSmey Kim, her boyfriend + their friend, all aged 18. They were all in the river, the young couple drowned + their devastated friend survived.               |

One problem for lifeguards and would-be rescuers is that a drowning/near drowning victim in panic will try to grab onto or even climb up onto the head or shoulders of the rescuer. Sometimes this panic is enough to lead to both drowning.
