i was gonna say.. stealing wire typically generates the kinda shock that WON'T blow someones hands off. copper wire used in houses is considered low voltage (at 120 or 240Volts) i'm fairly sure substations and such (over 12Kv) use aluminum for their primary conductors. |

I don't know if 480 volts would blow your hand off like that. At least to this severity. Lucky to be alive if he lives. Is this due to theft, have true safety experts looked at some of these third world country's standards. I have to wonder. Some of he incidents I've seen lately look due to safety not theft. wolfie |
