Happened Monday (22/10/12). Young boy was stabbed at least six times with a knife, three in the chest, one is the back, one in the head and one in the neck.

He was decomposing already. The pictures seem to be in reverse chronological order and you can see he was on lying on that side when he died. The blood pool might have sped things up a bit.

That's Desquamation or what I call Skin Slip. It's a sign of decomp reaching into its advanced stages... but can also depend upon the skin type and environmental conditions.
