Well, if you think about it, it's not surprising at all. The philosophy of atheism does not hold human life as sacred or special any more than the life of any animal. So what is to prevent a government from maximizing the use of a criminal's body. And what would prevent a government from declaring any action against the government to be criminal. After all, if you take theism out of the equation then the government is the highest authority of the people. So the government has a right to decide who lives and who dies and what purpose thier bodies can be put to. Human rights be damned. Russia was just as brutal with dissidents within it's borders. I won't be surprised when the same situation exists here. Obama's buddies were talking about killing twenty five million people not so long ago. |
