US soldier hit by sniper in Germany WWII.

Nazi man on hearing that the Red Army is advancing quickly towards Berlin decided to execute his family then shot himself in thead.
Photo taken by Russian soldiers.
He killed his son - barely two or three (far right), his daugher 15 and his wife in a park in Berlin.
Before killing himself he checked the bodies to make sure they were dead.
According to witnesses, the daugher was the last to go - she tried to resist her father but he brutally shot her in the head.

The Battle of Berlin must have been fucking crazy. The Germans and the Soviets hated each other with a passion. That guy probably killed his family so they wouldn't get tortured.

The Battle of Berlin must have been fucking crazy. The Germans and the Soviets hated each other with a passion. That guy probably killed his family so they wouldn't get tortured.
Those Germans who wound up murdering their families were mostly members of the notorious SS. These heartless bastards were so blinded by Hitler's madness, they believed the Russians would torture their children just like they, the Germans, had done to the Russian children.
