I used to sometimes have to ask a couple of porters for help. We were taught lifting and handling and had a special technique for heavy bodies. You hold them with both hands under the armpit and slowly lean back and let your weight pull them across onto the table. Sometimes they'd suddenly give and I fell backwards, legs up in the air
