Re: Worker's Head Partially Hacked Off by Airplane Propeller
OMG.....I just took another look at the accident photos. It IS a chemical spill accident during loading. The white substance is more than likely a phosphate insecticide...they are nearly always white. the chemical surrounds the body and dismembered pieces. He has some PPE (Personal protection equipment) on that suggests a "hot load" which means the loader is servicing the aircraft while the engine is running. Dammit that hits close to home. RIP bro. |

Re: Worker's Head Partially Hacked Off by Airplane Propeller
The man died instantly when he was hit on the head by the propeller of a yellow single engine airplane. The accident occurred in 2016, on a farm in the municipality of Barra do Garças, Brazil. Preliminary investigation shows that he was helping to maintain the spray nozzles of the agricultural plane, when he was hit by the propeller and had his head severed. |
