Worker Fatally Crushed by Concrete Pole
Macuspana, Tabasco state, Mexico An unfortunate accident claimed the life of a worker at an oil complex. Initial reports indicate that the man was in front of the facilities when a concrete pole gave way and fell on his neck. It was allegedly a work-related accident, while he was installing the concrete pole. However, a strong wind was enough to knock the pole on to the unfortunate worker. Witnesses went to the scene to see if the man was still alive; however, the worker no longer had vital signs.    |

Well, it IS concrete. But it is NOT a Pole. Here I was, expecting to see a roly-poly Eastern European who had inadvertently landed on one of the natives, unexpectedly pinning them to the ground and extinguishing their life before the person could climb off of them, and here it's a concrete post of some kind that just tipped over. But I guess he's equally dead, either way. |
