Worker Electrocuted when He Moved a Scaffold and Hit Power Lines

Mexico, April 22, 2015. A worker in his early twenties was electrocuted when he moved a scaffold and hit the power lines. He and two other workers were changing regular lights for LED lights. One of them used a wooden stick to move the scaffold so they could help their colleague but it was all too late.

Some jerks may criticize the guy.

He was doing his job and sure he didn't notice the potential hazard.

Like all of us haven't had any accidents in our lifetime?

Sure, I have had accidents before but not one that would have turned me into a crispy critter.

Re: Worker Electrocuted when He Moved a Scaffold and Hit Power Lines

Being thankful has nothing to with it. It is common sense and being are of my surroundings. I sure as hell wouldn't have moved the scaffolding prior to ensuring that the path I wanted to take was free and clear of possible dangers. It is fairly clear he didn't and is now in a thread on DR.

Be real thankful then.

OK.

Still, we may or will have lapses in our awareness at (certain) times.
