Wong Sze-man Found Dead in Ma On Shan; Cause Undetermined, March 8, 2007
Wong Sze-man, a 21-year-old student, was found dead on a secluded shore off To Tau Village in Ma On Shan, Hong Kong, at about 2 p.m. on March 8, 2007. A pathologist estimated that she had died about 12 hours earlier but could not determine the cause of death. She had more than 10 injuries to her hands, feet and forehead, as well as two wounds on her left thigh. The injuries were described as consistent with a fall or impact but were not considered fatal. Police opened a possible homicide investigation because Wong had not been reported missing. A police search dog and tactical officers later found a pair of shoes and a laptop computer about 100 meters from the body. Data on the computer established her identity. Firefighters assisted in removing the body from the difficult shoreline terrain at about 9 p.m. A full autopsy was ordered.  ·  ·  ·  · |

I've seen these pics a few times over the years. I think the main story that seemed to go along with them was that she was in a car and crashed into the beauty spot. That's all I got, sorry.

She was a university student in Hong Kong. In her final year and months away from graduation. It was a suicide. Apparently she had a boyfriend in Amsterdam which her parents objected to. The relationship later soured and on the day she went missing she told her parents she was going to Amsterdam to meet her boyfriend, presumably to "fix" their relationship.
