good story, but not a chance, its 2 neet a wound, if am not mistaking its called a fistular, it is a medical problem, a pipe like ulcer, which often appears under the scrotum or around the poop hole, but left untreated can cause cepticeamia, then death. but the dog sounds gruesome.

Yep, that's a youngish woman with an anal fistula---the wound seemed out of control, and perhaps the fistula's internal tract eroded, causing baceria from the alimentary tract (GI) to spill into her peritoneal cavity, thus causing peritonitis--which quickly can kill due to toxic overload; septicemia.
