Woman's Charred and Decomposing Body Found - Two Soldiers Arrested
Baubau, Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia The unclothed body of a 23-year-old woman, W.N.I., was found underneath a bridge. The body, which was emitting a "foul odour", was charred, and there was a laceration on the head. It is thought her body had also been devoured on by a monitor lizard. A used fuel bottle and other "suspicious objects" were found near the body. Two members of the Indonesian Armed Forces - both aged 19 - were arrested. One of the suspects was in a romantic relationship with W.       |
