Woman's Body Recovered From Canal in Bangkok, Thailand, Nov. 2012

A woman's body was recovered from an unnamed canal in the Thonburi district of Bangkok, Thailand, in November 2012. Uniformed rescue-foundation volunteers lifted the body into a small boat and carried it onto a wooden landing as reporters and local residents watched from the bank. Her mother later spoke to reporters outside Buppharam Metropolitan Police Station. No cause of death or official police finding is known.
