Woman Thrashed and Strangulated to Death by Husband

1st November 2016, Stung Meanchey district of Phnom Penh, Cambodia - A 22 year old woman was battered with a blunt object, and strangled to death by her 32 year old husband. According to neighbours, the couple were always arguing and fighting, but things obviously got out of control on this occasion. The husband had fled the scene, and is yet to be apprehended. The difference between the cyanosed upper part of the body, compared to the lower is worth mentioning, as it's very marked.

Truly a tragic end, she deserved more out of life.

Yes, the blood has gathered in her upper half because she was upside down, it's a strange sight.

Weird when one half laterally is pale and other purple from folk who've died on their side.
