At the end of the morning of this Wednesday, July 18, 2018, around 11:00 am, civil police from the Homicide Office of Foz do Iguaçu received a complaint that in the Paraná River ravine, near the port near the Fishermen's Colony of Monsignor Guilherme, where there would be a body floating along the banks of the river.

In the place the body was located, being activated support of the Fire Department to remove the corpse of the water. Already in the ground the female body was investigated by the Scientific Police (Criminalistic), being verified that the victim was stabbed to death in the river gorge and thrown in the water.

The victim did not present any type of identification, and it was collected by the Legal Medical Institute for necropsy, identification and release procedure.

According to the expert, the woman was struck on the head and had a deep cut on her neck. Still, analyzing the blood trail on the banks of the street, the expert concluded that the victim had been dragged for about 100 meters before being thrown into the river.
