Both of you might be right if she wasn't able to care for herself. A caregiver would be someone close to her and may have been cognizant of her estates, assuming there was something of value that the killer wanted that she was refusing to give. Who knows?

What makes me think that this wasn't random and instead being far more personal, is how the killer attempted to defile her body by stripping her clothes off and sticking a knife up her hoo hoo-the knife wound likely being post mortem. I'm curious what significance, if any, the laceration just above her right knee has or is it just an artifact of a violent struggle? The other thing that seems odd is how the blood splatter characterization looks different between the one next the stove and the huge mess made around the body.


If, on the other hand, she didn't know her killer, then I would be very concerned that this municipality and/or region could have a Richard Ramirez to contend with now or very soon.

The last possibility is that this case is solved by now and everything I said was a big waste of time.. Any thoughts on these?
