Re: Woman Stabbed Over 50 Times, Knife Lodged in Her Vagina
They aren't mutually exclusive concepts, you see it all the time on DR, but from what can be seen in the pictures, I doubt it was a spousal attack. Pic 3 appears to be evidence that the house was broken into, the nice shiny new stove, cherry wood dining table with matching chairs suggests this household was more well-to-do then much of the neighborhood which provides motive. As for insane overkill, unfortunately is not all too uncommon for this type of criminal to fly into a violent rage when caught by surprise. That's how Richard Ramirez started out |

Re: Woman Stabbed Over 50 Times, Knife Lodged in Her Vagina
I don't know for certain, clearly, but it entertains me to wonder..... That is an incredible time for a robber to show up and butcher her when she is in her lingerie? Seems like a 62year old woman dressed like that would be waiting on someone; that could come in at any minute. It also looks like the clothes on the floor are also lingerie thrown of a box and the rest of the house is orderly, that also does not indicate robbery to me. Wonder if granny was a madam and a john went crazy on her?

Re: Woman Stabbed Over 50 Times, Knife Lodged in Her Vagina
When it comes to the lingerie she was wearing, I initially thought that she must've been asleep in bed before the attack. -But- After closer examination, I believe we were both wrong on that. She was stripped (probably by the killer) after or during the attack. That's why her bra is nearly blood free despite all those stab wounds and the blood that is on her chest matches the shape of the neckline on the pink blouse that's been pushed down off her shoulders. Also, if you look in the corner, only one item of clothing has blood on it, a pink and white piece that could easily be a matching skirt or pair of shorts. As for the rest of the house, I actually see that as more of an indication of robbery gone wrong, as it suggests that the killer was caught mid-act. Had there been a violent struggle chairs would be knocked over, blood would be spattered on the furniture, defensive wounds would be evident etc. My guess is she never really knew what hit her. Maybe she just picked the wrong day to come home early from Bingo |
