PHILIPPINES - On August 23, 2020, 26-year-old A.D.D. was stabbed to death by 27-year-old J.D.E. in Barangay San Isidro, Sorsogon City, Sorsogon. She was laid to rest on August 28. She is survived by her younger sister, partner and two children. Here's the Tagalog post I translated:

A WOMAN IS STABBED IN SAN ISIDRO, BACON DISTRICT, SORSOGON CITY

A female stabbing victim is showering in her own blood when she was found inside her house in Barangay San Isidro, Bacon District, Sorsogon City at around 10:15 AM this morning [August 23, 2020]

Sorsogon City PNP immediately went to the place of incident where the victim lied is identified as A.D., 25 years old, resident of the said barangay and has orphaned children.

Meanwhile, the victim's corpse was sent to Sorsogon Provincial Hospital for an autopsy where she had sixteen (16) stab wounds to different parts of her body. Noticeably, the victim fought for her life until she was severely stabbed.

On the other hand, her relatives do not know motives for the victim's murder, however her younger sister told in a WOW Smile Radio interview that she received death threats a few days earlier.

While the news is being written, the authorities arrested a suspect and is now under investigation.

SUSPECT IN STABBING HIS COUSIN IN BACON DISTRICT, SORSOGON CITY TO BE CHARGED

SORSOGON CITY - A 27-year-old boy who stabbed his cousin in Barangay San Isidro, Bacon District, Sorsogon City is facing a murder charge.

The accused is identified as J.E. while the victim is identified as A.D., 26 years old, both residents of the said barangay.

Based on a police report, jealousy is the motive for the stabbing of victim by suspect, last Saturday morning, August 23 at Sitio Iraya in the said barangay.

Before that, the victim and the suspect had a heated argument that ended in stabbing in the end.

The victim is dead on the spot, who received 16 stab wounds to her body.

After the crime, the suspect immediately surrender to their Barangay Chairman.
