Woman Stabbed to Death in Hotel Room in Daet, Camarines Norte, May 2017
On the morning of May 6, 2017, hotel employees found a woman's body in a room in Barangay Bagasbas, Daet, Camarines Norte, Philippines. She had arrived with a man at around 7 a.m. the previous day. He paid for 24 hours and departed by himself several hours afterward. After receiving no response the following morning, staff forced open the door and discovered her next to the bed. Crime scene investigators said she had four chest stab wounds and arm cuts consistent with a struggle. Police were looking for the man who accompanied her, but no arrest was reported. Press accounts did not identify the victim. It's not a school uniform. She worked at a company in Saudi Arabia. That is why she was wearing that uniform.
