Woman Slashed With Machete, Arm Almost Completely Chopped Off
In Prey Veng province, Cambodia, a 38-year-old woman, L.S., was killed with a machete by a 42-year-old man, C.K.H., while doing morning exercises (some sources said she was pushing a baby stroller).

Khmer is not an easy language to translate, but some translations claim that the woman had apparently reported C., claiming he was a drug dealer.

On July 16, 2023, a murder case occurred when the suspect took a knife and stabbed a woman to death in the street because she had called him a drug dealer.

According to a report from the Prey Veng Provincial Police, the suspect was C.K., a 42-year-old Cambodian man, and the murder victim was L.S., female, Khmer, 38 years old, farmer, living in Ta Preah village, Prek Tasor commune, Po Rieng district, Prey Veng province.

According to people in the village, the woman had made remarks about the man being a drug dealer the night before the incident, and this made him so angry that the next morning he was waiting for her with a machete. When she walked past him in the street, the killer hacked the woman to death in front of the villagers and she died on the spot.

The suspect was captured and immediately taken put in police custody.

She did have her children with her. Reports say she has 2 daughters + a son - apparently 2 were injured.
