Woman Shot in Head, Dead. Husband Intended Target.
On the dawn of this Tuesday, February 5, 2019, around 00h: 50min, Siate (Integrated System of Attention to Trauma and Emergency) of the Foz do Iguaçu Fire Department were called to move to Rua dos Amigos , almost crossing with Guarany Street, inside the Bubas Invasion, Porto Meira region, to provide care for a FAF (firearm) victim. In the place was verified that the victim had a single perforation in the head, being verified the death in the place. Soon military police of the 14th BPM made the isolation of the place of death until the arrival of the Civil Police (Homicide Police), Police Science (Criminalistics) and the Legal Medical Institute. The victim would have been pre-identified as DS, 33 years old and according to information passed the shooting would have been accidental, where the main suspect would be the husband of the victim, who fled the place before the arrival of the teams cops.      |

It's hard to get any sense out of google translations sometimes but I took it that the shooter was trying to shoot the husband, but missed and hit the wife, though I could be wrong, and I could only find this story on one source. So either the husband did it and ran, or someone else was after shooting the husband and he ran away from them.

33 year old D.D.S.C.D.M. was shot in the head by her husband, R.M., who fled the scene before the police arrived.
