PHILIPPINES - On September 17, 2022, 38-year-old M.C.S. was shot to death by her partner A.L.D. due to jealousy. No victim's antemortem photos. Here are the news reports I translated from Tagalog:

WOMAN SHOT TO DEATH BY HER OWN LIVE-IN PARTNER DUE TO JEALOUSY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ALAMADA

A woman was shot to death by her own live-in partner at around 9:00 PM, September 17 [2022] in Barangay Pacao, Alamada, Cotabato.

The victim is identified as M.C.S., 38-year-old when the suspect is identified as A.L.D.

Based on an investigation by Alamada Municipal Police Station, the victim went home when she was dropped off by her coworker W.F. from her place in Nicaan, Libungan, Cotabato.

When the victim entered the house, she was suddenly shot by A.L.D., where she sustained gunshot wounds to different parts of her body that resulted in her early death.

W.F. tried to wrestle the suspect to the point that he tried to grab the gun, and then immediately went to the police station.

After the crime was committed, A.L.D. immediately fled the scene to an unknown direction.

Jealousy is the possible motive for the said crime.

SUSPECT IN THE KILLING OF HIS LIVE-IN-PARTNER IN PACAO, ALAMADA, CAUGHT BY POLICE

Members of Alamada Municipal Police Station caught the suspect in the killing of his live-in-partner at his hideout in Rangayen, Alamada, Cotabato at around 4:20 PM yesterday, September 18, 2022.

A.L.D. a.k.a. M. did not resist when he was arrested by police due to shooting of his live-in-partner M.C.S., 38-year-old, businesswoman last Saturday night, September 17 at their house in Barangay Pacao in the said municipality.

It is revealed that M.C.S. just got home when she was dropped off by her coworker W.F., when she entered the house she was shot several times by the suspect that resulted in her death.

W.F. tried to grab the gun, and then he immediately reported the event to the police station while A.L.D. immediately fled to get away what he had done.

The authorities see jealousy as suspect's motive for the killing of his partner.

After A.L.D.'s arrest, the M.C.S.'s family thanked for all those who helped in tracking down the suspect's location to face the law and get what he deserves for the crime he committed.
