Woman Shot Dead Whilst Nursing Her Baby
On the night of 25th December 2012, Quitéria Barbosa + her husband José Robério da Silva were arrested for having marijuana + crack.   Fast forward to just under 4 years later, to the night of 27th November 2016, in Caetés. At around 7pm, 30 year old Quitéria was on her bed, nursing her 1 year old son. Her 2 nieces, 14 year old Jucicleide Maria + 10 year old Jamile Vitoria, were also sitting on the bed. 2 people entered the house + fired shots from a .38 revolver. Jucicleide was struck in her thorax + Jamile was hit in her thigh. Thankfully the baby was unharmed. Quitéria, who was shot in her arm + chest, didn't survive.      The 2 girls were taken to hospital but it's unknown if they recovered. Relatives did not know the reason as to why it happened. |
