I've heard that those work with dead bodies or that kind, their mind generate some kind of black/dark humour that makes it all easier for you to cope etc... dont know how to explain.

People who get a degree in Mortuary Science are hilariously morbid. I was once at the bar with some of writer friends, and there was a huge group of raucous people next to us; every single girl there was smoking hot. So, a friend and I chatted 3 of these chicks to come sit and talk with us, at which point we learned they were recent graduates of the WSU Mortuary Science program... and every one of those chicks had hilariously morbid stories about working with dead people. I mean, it's just like any profession where you deal with dead people... you have to have thick skin, and a certain sense of humor. I remember once hearing a news segment on NPR about Mort Sci students at some school, and how a group of them had agreed to get tattoos on their bodies that were crib notes/cheat sheets for the future Mort Sci students that would eventually dissect their bodies... if THAT's not morbid humor, than I don't know what is. lol |
