You couldn't have said it better. I mean its not like the gangs and cartels in Mexico are known for extreme utter brutality and violence even for MUCH lesser known offenses to them. But no really, I think the only surprise is how long this went on, I'd expect the cartels to have executed her ass the first time this happened, perhaps she was actually taking care of a few other dealers the cartels didn't like to begin with? so perhaps she was doing them a little favor is why they left her alone for so long, its not like the cartels are like "Okay now don't let this happen again, no more ratting out rival dealers, this is your only warning".
