Woman Murdered on Her Way to Work
In Poza Rica, at around 8am, on 12th July 2017, 46 year old Sonia Barrios Jiménez was making her way to work. She was the cashier of the restaurant "El Mesón Huasteco". As she was walking down an alleyway, 2 people on a motorbike, who had been lying in wait, shot her 3 times.

Neighbours heard gunshots + ran out to find Sonia lying on the ground. An ambulance was called but by the time it arrived, it was too late.
