Yesterday (22/2) this 30 years old woman collided with a bus and had her head smashed. Looks to me like her helmet was crushed, but I'm not sure and the text doesn't mention a helmet.

Update: added the last image, which in fact shows the damaged helmet.

Police says that she died on the spot - well, looking at the corpse that is no surprise.

i guess helmet did not helped any this time? helmet or no helmet, caution, driving moderation and street alertness is still the best accident prevention.

I'm pretty sure the Warranty is voided on a Helmet if a Bus Runs over it

I am sorry to inform you, but I fear that helmets were not meant to protect you from head on collisions with BUSES! Did you ever see helmet crash tests done where the dumby had its head rammed into a bus. They're meant to save you in the event of a moderate FALL off of your motorcycle, not head on collision with x amount of tons of BUS!

Looks like they tried to shove her into that cardboard box before getting the other container to move her.
