Re: Woman & Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident

It was two women they were chased by robbery on another motorcycle, the women's motorcycle hit the electric pole. This incident was recorded on cctv. This happened in Thailand.
Correct. Here is the story from the Pattaya News website:

2 women were killed after they tried to escape on their motorbike from 2 robbers who were chasing them. They lost control on a bend and collided with an electricity pylon killing them instantly.

CHONBURI – December 11, 2013 [PDN]; at 7.00 a.m. Pol. Capt. Sophonwit Mitphraphan (police on duty of Sriracha police station) was notified that there had been an accident were a motorbike overshot a curve and collided with an electricity post killing the rider and passenger who were both female. The incident occurred in Soi Municipality 7/1, Baan Na Phoo community, Moo 6 Tambon Bang Phra, Amphur Sriracha, Chonburi province. Pol. Capt. Sophonwit who is responsible for this case together with the detective police team went to inspect the cause of this accident and find out the progress of this case.

The police team found that the CCTV at the incident point had recorded the 2 culprits which showed that while the 2 dead victims were driving their motorbike at high speed t there were 2 male culprits driving Honda Wave 125 motorbike (didn’t know its colour and license number) who were following them closely and the 2 female victims tried to accelerate to flee the culprits but suddenly they overshot a curve and collided with the electricity killing them both instantly. After that one of the two culprits ran and picked up the handbags of the dead victims then fled the scene.

From questioning a bystander, the police perceived that while the 2 dead victims were riding thier motorbike from Soi Municipality 7/1 at high speed there were 2 male teenagers tailing them and when they reached the incident point they lost control and collided with the electricity post killing them instantly.
After investigating the accident the police made a note for their daily record for evidence and they assumed that the cause was due to a high speed chase which caused the females to lose control which resulted in them both losing their lives. However, the police gave the corpses to the rescuers of Sawang Pratheep Sriracha foundation to be kept at Somdej Phra Borrom Ratchathewee at Sriracha hospital in order to wait for the relatives to collect.
