I just found out from someone who lives in Japan, that if you commit suicide on a Japanese railroad, your family is responsible for all the expenses involved. It can run up to $2 million dollars U.S., but how much they actually wind up paying is subject to negotiation. They also said that Japanese trains are on time, to the second, and if there is a train delay, it is probably because someone committed suicide. Japanese trains never break down, I guess. |

The video clears it up. Now the last picture sort of makes sense. The use of the word jumped in the thread title made it confusing as well. I was expecting a building jumper. |
