Traffic accident left a woman dead in “Charikar” city of “Parwan” province.
Traffic officials of Parwan province said a woman hit by a truck and lost his life last evening in Charikar city of Parwan province.
Mohammad Yonus Pardesi, the Director of Traffic Police of Parwan province said a truck which was on the way from Kabul to the north, hit a woman in Charikar city. The woman died on the spot, Mr. Pardesi added.
According to Mr. Pardesi the truck driver is in police custody and under investigation.
Kabul-Parwan highway is a very crowded route. Narrow roads and carelessness of drivers are the main cause of fatal road accidents in this highway.
