Woman Killed on the Spot by Hit-and-Run Driver at Night
On saturday (24/11) night this woman was hit by a car and died on the spot. There is not much info, and even if her name is published, her age is not. The driver of the car disappeared - as usual. |

yea that's pretty fucked up that the guy (or girl!) ran away. Lately though I've been wondering what I'd do. Would anyone here just sit there and call the cops? Yea, actually I guess I would, knowing that I did run away, the guilt would maybe eat me? or it wouldn't? hell, I don't know. As you get older, seems like there's more flexibility in terms of running away from shit.

I wonder if there is a Death Race 2012 going on in Brazil? I think she is worth 500 points. |

Re: Woman Killed on the Spot by Hit-and-Run Driver at Night
People who run away from an accident like this in my experience typically fall into two categories ('typically' being the operative word in this sentence). Panicked people who are scared shitless and are flighty to begin with. & People who use the rationale ' They're already dead, and I'll never make this mistake again, so why ruin two lives?' I'm pretty sure I couldn't just leave, but honestly I've never been in a situation even close to a 'hit and run'. Who really knows exactly how they'd react? It's awful just thinking about it... |
