42 year old woman on a motorbike was forced into the oncoming highway lane by a semi-truck driver who attempted to pass her on the shoulder. Unfortunately she was struck by a smaller car in the oncoming lane, thrown from her bike, and killed. Not sure what the exact cause of death was. The leg is mangled, but shouldn't be fatal. She was wearing a helmet and her head looks basically intact. I'd guess brain damage or a broken neck. The truck driver fled the scene.

The woman worked as a coffee shop waitress.

She flew clean through the air when she hit that windshield at 75 mph. Chances are the flip-flops went airborne and were surreptitiously retrieved by small children to be given as Christmas presents.
