I.T.G., 34, is torn between life and death, after her romantic partner gave her 14 machetes while she slept.

This macabre event took place during the early hours of this Thursday, October 20 in the district of Guaitado, Vereda Chirriqui, jurisdiction of the municipality of Lloró, department of Chocó.

According to preliminary reports, he received 14 stab wounds in different parts of the body. Despite the severity of the injuries, the lady survived the attack and is torn between life and death in an intensive care clinic in the capital of Choco.

The perpetrator was identified as L.A.B., the victim's romantic partner, with whom he has 3 children.

Witnesses told the authorities that the lady was sleeping when they heard the screams and when they arrived in the other room they saw Mr. L.A. assaulting I. with the machete. Feeling the presence of the neighbors, the aggressor ran out and threw himself out of the window into the mountain.

The authorities have not captured the aggressor, who is a fugitive from justice.
