Woman Killed in Drunken Bike Crash
Carmen Patricia Suarez Mejia was killed in Villa Riva when her motorcycle lost control on the way home from the bar. CCTV camera footage caught the crash and also showed that some passersby took interest in the accident a few minutes later, but fled the scene and made no report. They are unidentified. It is not known whether Carmen died on impact or if the passersby may have saved her life had they intervened. In my personal armchair estimation, the damage to her skull probably killed her quickly or would have made her a vegetable had she been saved, but who knows. Police verified that alcohol was a factor in the incident. |

Probably saw she was either dead or about to be, and decided NOT to hang around, concerned that the police would beat them into admitting they had done it to her as a crime.  |
