Woman Jumped From the Newton Navarro Bridge, Natal, March 2019
A 22-year-old woman, reportedly originally from Bahia, died after jumping from Ponte Newton Navarro over the Potengi River in Natal, Brazil, on the morning of March 19, 2019. The bridge deck is about 55 metres above the water. No autopsy finding was published, and it was never established whether she died from the impact or by drowning.
