Woman Found Strangled in Motel Room, With Remote Control Lodged in Anus
Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil A 20-year-old manicurist, Júlia R.D., was found dead in a motel room, with signs of strangulation and with a remote control inserted in her anus. According to police, the suspect, 25-year-old Djalma Diego Oliveira Deodato, had arrived at the motel with Júlia in the early hours of the morning. At 7am, he left the motel, telling staff that Júlia was still sleeping, while instructing them to wake her up at 9am. When staff went to her room, they found her dead. Security camera footage caught the license plate of Djalma's motorcycle, and he was arrested. Djalma had a criminal record for drug trafficking, and indeed, police thought he was under the influence of drugs when he was arrested.  ·  ·  ·  ·  · |
