Woman Found Strangled in Hotel Room
This 34 year old woman checked into a hotel room using a false ID. According to the desk clerk, she was joined later by 3 men, who also presented false IDs when requesting her room number. The men were seen departing, without the woman, less than 30 minutes later. The desk clerk got suspicious and called the room to make sure the woman was alright, but she did not answer. He waited a bit longer and then sent staff to check out the room, whereupon they found the woman strangled to death on the bed, with all of her belongings gone. She was fully clothed, but had bruising around her neck along with a fresh ligature mark, petechiae was noted in her eyes, and her pants were wet with urine. The formal autopsy found no signs of sexual assault and the CVOD was ruled as mechanical asphyxia. It was believed that a belt was used to strangle her. One of the men has since been identified and apprehended, a career criminal with multiple kidnapping counts on his record. The police have not yet released information explaining why the woman was there or why she was murdered, nor have the remaining two men been located.  ·  ·  ·  · |

Yah, no one really seems to know wtf was happening in there. But she's still got her shoes on while lying dead on the bed, so I think they either jumped her right away or right as she was trying to leave. No idea why, though. Probably won't ever know.

Round bed. Nothing good comes out of renting a room from a hotel that features round beds.

Especially going to a hotel that has round beds, and renting a room that has a dead body on the round bed.
